Hitachi Magnetics, Edmore, Mich., announced the closure of its ferrite manufacturing operations in Edmore in early in 2004. Mohr Corporation was awarded the contract to liquidate all of the ferrite manufacturing facilities' physical assets, including machinery for raw materials handling and processing, forming and firing, and secondary finishing.
